"My mom has the coolest job!" November 2011

November, my job at the Halloween store ended, and I was so nervous that I was loosing an income. We are blessed, because Denise called the week my job ended and asked if I wanted to come and help her at her and Rob's company. I was so excited, I love Denise and Rob and their beautiful kids! I have loved the Rogers family since I was 12 (poor Trudy)! It always seems that the Rogers family is always there for me, always there to laugh with, always there to lend a helping hand. I will always thank my Heavenly Father for showing me the path into the Rogers family. Hopefully, the Rogers family doesn't push me off that path! Ha. 

So, Denise and Rob run an excavating company. They have started this company from the bottom up, and they work so hard. I have always loved machines, loud engines, and power. When I go to work, I get to see tractors, loaders, dump trucks, semi-trucks (wanted to be a diesel driver when I was a little girl), and dirt! Now, I only get to usually look at papers and the computer, but once and a while Rob lets me run the compactor! Yes, me! Dream come true. 

So, my kids get to see awesome stuff whenever they come to my work. One day, Denise took the kids for a ride on the loader. It was so fun, Riley loved driving and working the bucket. When I get to drive the compactor, Cody says..."my mom is a tractor man!"
