June 2011...June is kind of a blur to me at this point. However, I know we were very busy. Four kids, a visually impaired husband post-op, and yet another surgery at the end of June, kids out of school, multiple activities, plus, we were in the process of transition for our Foster kids to return home (lots of home visits = me traveling to Provo and Pleasant Grove multiple times a day!) Here is a bunch of pics from June, again, no Foster kids, but now I can show Cody's, at least.
Field Day: I usually take the kids to the dollar store to get treats after, first sign of summer!
Last day of school! After school, I took all the kids (plus Rudy and Seth), and Chris, to the park. We got McDonald's and had fun! Get ready for summer! Here we come!
Wow...that was a busy day! I took the Foster kids to an overnight visit, so the other kids had a movie in mom's bed, zonked out!
Riley and our Foster daughter played Soccer together.
Riley was also playing Baseball at the same time as Soccer, they overlap a little in the summer. She is so stinking cute.
For my birthday, all the kids had a dress-up show for me! Cody is quite spectacular, don't you think?
I finally put up the pool, everyone was much happier!
So, this cute little boy with the red headband is going to give his mom a heart attack before he is 12. He has no fear, this one. This is Cody after getting staples in his head from running into a metal pole. I was mowing the lawn, and Chris couldn't see still, and he only could hear Cody crying and came around the corner holding Cody with blood running all over. I screamed, yelled for the neighbor to help me, and we rushed to the doctor. He, of course, was more upset that his Cars shirt was ruined. I am so nervous for this summer, we have already had so many close calls. Boys!
Lehi Round-Up Days, this is Cody and Riley at the Parade. This was Cody's first parade, he was pretty excited. He wasn't shy about getting candy, like Riley. He actually went right up to a guy and took a Capri Sun right out of his bucket. He thought everyone got one, right?
Activity at the Park!
Apparently, the little girl sat on Cody's hand, I caught the scream perfectly!
Kangaroo Zoo: Here is Chris trying to "feel" his way around and help "J" up onto the slide.
