Happy 33rd Birthday to me.....
Since I have been born in 1976, a lot has changed about me...for one I am out of diapers, two I can feed myself (sometimes), and three I don't drool as much as I used to. However, one thing has not changed since I have been born on this earth. I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING!
Anyway, it was a good birthday, Chris worked from 5:30 to 8:00 pm that night, so I missed him, but Riley kept it interesting by wrapping random things from around the house and letting me open them as presents...but the funniest one was she took Christmas wrapping paper and wrapped my Mother's Day gift that she made and gave it to me....again. So funny...she gets so excited for birthdays, I think I enjoy my birthdays, only because Riley enjoys them.
My dear friend Trudy, whom I adore, gave me a book of inspirational thoughts from Sheri Dew, and I thought that I would share this thought with you.
"Life is a test. It is only a test--meaning, that's all it is. Nothing more, but nothing less. It is a test of our convictions and priorites, our faith and faithfulness, our patience and resilience, and in the end, our ultimate desires. It is a test to determine if we want to be part of the kingdom of God more than we want anything else." -Sheri Dew-
This thought had me thinking about my own life...."do I want to be part of the Kingdom of God more than I want anything else." Well..."yes, but man it is hard." Easier said...than done. Sometimes, I just enjoy being a bit CRAZY! Ha.
Here is a funny cartoon I came across.....

I thought the cartoon was awesome. It is how I feel. It keeps me motivated to keep walking, until "this" is thinner! The thought was wonderful! Life is hard, I would like a chance at the "easy" part for a while.
