Hey there!

Well, things have been crazy around our house lately! Riley is getting ready for field day/dance festival at her school...I am volunteering to help out with those. I get to supervise the "chicken throw" should be awesome! I can't wait to chuck those chickens with some 5-year-olds! Riley is excited for summer, she can't wait to swim outside, I think she asks everyday..."can we swim outside, yet?"

Chris is busy with work, he passed his certification test (crazy math I have no clue about), and I am so proud of him! Chris has been busy working in the yard...I think his feet may be green by the end of this mowing season. Chris continues to be a loving and supporting husband who puts up with my crazy ideas! Thanks Chris....

I have been busy getting stuff ready for our "Help Us Adopt" yard and craft sale, which is on May 23rd from 7-4 at Kirkham's Upholstrey in AF. Becky has been my tireless helper in that endeavor. Amy, my sister has been painting her little heart out to get 200 frames painted for me to sell so we can raise money for another sibling for Riley. If any of you are interested in purchasing frames or door hangers...you can either see those photos on facebook, or I am selling them on Etsy.com (adoptionhelp is my sellers name). I will try and upload the photos on my blog also. Also, if you are interesting in coming to a painting party (I will feed you!) Let me know!

Thank you all for volunteering to help out...I really appreciate all the love and support that all of you have shown! Thank you all for your words of kindness during this crazy time. Heavenly Father has really blessed Chris and I in our lives, and mostly put us around such loving and wonderful people...we don't know what we would do without every single one of you.

As far as an adoption, we are working with a few options right now, and we hope that something comes from at least one of those options! Things fall through...but then another door opens. I have faith that God has great plans in store for us...

  1. I am so proud to call you my friend. I wish I could be to all of those events. While I am not much of a painter, I would show up just to support you! I hope it all is a success for you in your quest to adopt another child. I am certain things will fall into place and a baby will come to you. You deserve so much, just for your kindness you show to others.
