Okay, what I am about to share may be offensive to some of you...but life with a 5-year-old is a constant surprise around every corner. Where do they come up with some of the things they say!
Chris, Riley, and I were sitting around the dinner table having a very nice dinner. We were laughing, having fun, and I was teasing Riley by stealing her food off of her plate every time she would look away (I love to drive her crazy!) Chris and I were laughing at the reaction she kept giving when she would turn around and something else was gone from her plate. I asked Riley to pick something up off the floor so that I could steal off her plate again...and she proceeds to yell at me when she looks back up and I had taken more off her plate, and Chris and I laughed.....then out of no where she says..."oh yeah...dad needs to shave his boobs!" What the? I think I need to change her diet or something, she is CRAZY funny. How does she even know about chest hair? Chris wears "undershirts" all the time! Riley just loves to "shock" people...I can just imagine the things she will say the older she gets....how much trouble will she get in? Daughter like mother....
Again, I apologize if I offended anyone, but this was just too funny not to share! You can't tell me your children never say "odd" things!

That is too funny. I cut Denise Rogers hair today and she told me about book group. It sounds like fun. She said she would have Trudy send me a list. I might have to come join.
ReplyDeleteI can honestly say that my child has never said anything odd! I know, how weird is that right? Riley is too funny!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny. I was just thinking about Chris needing to shave his chest. It would go really far to complete his metrosexual look.
