1. As a comment on this blog post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Let's see. In the short time I have known you we have had some fun times and you have seen me through some tragic times. I remember the Native American Dancing where we laughed so hard the people around us probably thought we were stoned. I remember after the magic show, we got doughnuts and sat under a tree with the girls and ate them. That's a great memory. I remember the first time you guys came to dinner at my house and Ari wasn't sure who you guys were and why you were coming to dinner, then after you left he said, "Now I see why you are friends with her." (You crack us up!!) I remember one Sunday morning shortly after Carebear was born how I called you and bore my soul to you and you probably couldn't understand most of it, but you made me feel like you did.
ReplyDeleteI know it said one memory, but I thought I owed you more than one since I sent such a short response to your previous e-mail!!
Love always.

I remember that class. It was fun Michelle was the TA. I was really sick that year it wasn't a good school year for me. One of my favorite memories is the week of graduation when a bunch of us went to Lee's Chinese restaurant and the waitress was so ornery and rude. So you decided her tip was going to be a few pennies with a note on the place mat "A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned" We hurried and left but we laughed so hard that day. I have many more we have known each other along time. Thanks for your friendship :)love ya
ReplyDeleteWe have been friends for so long and done and shared so many adventures that it is hard to pick just one. You have seen me at my best and at my worst, you've laughed with me and made me laugh through my tears, fears, pain and heartache. You've helped me become who I am today and you've encouraged me when I've thought all is lost. You definately helped make High School fun and helped me realize I could be a good student but have fun too, without you I may have never gotten my nose out of the books. I have a collection of memories that include sleepovers, movies, swimming at your Aunt & Uncle's house, Lagoon, birthday parties, cruising main, football games (especially 10th grade), crushes, school dances, Disneyland & Midevil times after graduation and many, many more including all the phone calls and time spent just chatting and catching up. I don't know what I would do without you, love ya (not gay though). Angela
ReplyDeleteAngela: Since you do not have a blog (I wish you did), I guess I will leave my memory of you on my comments (I hope you read it)!
ReplyDeleteI think of all my friends in this world, you have known me the best. You have seen me, as well, at my best and worst. You know all the crazy habits I have, and all the crazy things I have done. I am who I am today, as well, because of you. You mentioned that I got you out of the books in High School, well, you kept me grounded (sometimes), we were a good pair.
My most favorite memories of you are when you lived over by the Gurney's, when we were way little. I loved sleeping over to your house and laughing most of the night. I remember this one time we got wax lips and we were crazy all night! I remember watching Gremlins and pausing the microwave part while eating pizza. We were crazy. Your mom was also nice enough to make something special for me because I hate pizza. Your family was like my second family.
We stayed friends even though you moved a few times, even different cities or schools. We have so much in common, and I really think that you were the best friend I could have had during all my school years.
I love you and Jake, and I am so glad that you are happy and close by. I wish we could see each other more, but life is....well, busy! Thank you, to you and your family for all they have done for me (this summer, mostly for the opportunity of working).
I will always cherish the memories I have of you and I, it is a part of my life that I will never forget. I am grateful that you were in my life, and still continue to be.
Love ya, Brook
In the time that I have known you, I think that one of the better memories that I have had with you, is when we went to Ohio and picked up Riley. I had so much fun with you. It was great taking a trip like that with you. Flying on the plane, waiting in the airport, being with you was the greatest part. When we got there and saw Riley, WOW! It was so great to see you and I starting out on an adventure like that. When we got Riley, it was great to see you holding her and become a mother. It felt right. I love that you are Rileybugs mother. I love to make you happy and to see you smile. When I held Riley for the first time, I felt so small, but there was a lot of comfort in the thought that you were going to be there with me to help me along. When I saw you with Riley, I could tell that you were overwhelmed, but I could also see the happiness in your eyes. It made me feel so good. I love my dearest Brooklyn. I want all of your friends and my friends too, to know that I love you very much. Your happiness is so important to me. I love your smile. You don't do it enough. My heavenly father blessed me so much when I met you and Rileybugs. I love you. I hope you remember that day when we met Rileybugs. It was a great day and I am truly blessed to have been able to share that day with you. Thank you. Love you always. ME!!!
