Most of you may not know, but I do like some, Country music....Reba is about the only female country artist that I really like. My mom loves Reba, and has been wanting to see her forever. So, I thought it would be nice to take her. The concert was last Friday night.
We had a great time. The sound system in the Energy Solutions Arena really stinks though. The music was so loud, that we would could not even understand the words that were being sung. Fortunately, we know most of Reba's songs so we could just follow along. Kelly Clarkson is awesome, and I love most of her music. It was fun to have the best of both worlds...rock and country. It was also fun because "Barbara Jean" from the Reba show was the opening act, doing a comedy routine; she was so funny.
This concert was not as good as her last one, but we still really enjoyed it. We cannot wait to see her again. I want to take my mom to an outside concert of Reba's, those are the best.
It was fun spending time with my mom and cousin. We ending up having an extra ticket, and I asked a couple of you to go, but everyone was busy (we found out we had the extra ticket 45 minutes before). However, it ended up okay, we went with my cousin Vicki whom we don't get to spend much time with. Most of all, it gave me the opportunity to miss my family; I returned refreshed and ready to serve them once again (or so they think). Ha.
