Speaking of the first day of Kindergarten, I guess I should 
post some photo's of that day. Here are some photos of the day, including, waiting for the bus, and the running to me photo. We are lucky enough to have the bus stop right in our driveway, so, I can always meet her at the door. For the first two weeks they let the kindergarteners off the bus first so they do not get trampled by the big kids. Thank goodness. Riley weighs a mere 35 pounds and is a petite little girl, and would be swallowed up by those 6th graders. Maybe that is just my fear; Riley doesn't seem to mind.

Maybe that is just my fear; Riley doesn't seem to mind.It is funny to note though, Riley started off in the first seat of the bus the first day. Then, gradually she moved back during the week. Then, on Friday, she was in the back of the bus with some of the older kids. Riley is no longer a rookie; and for those of you that know Riley well, that is a unusual thing.
