Blog.

Well, I have been blogging for about a week now, and I must say that I have really enjoyed it. At first, I was very hesitant, not wanting to SPILL my guts online for all the world to see, but it has been a good thing.

It has been so wonderful to hear from people that mean so much to me. For example, I have a wonderful Aunt and family that live in Salt Lake, but we rarely get to see one another. It has been rewarding to me, that they can see Riley and be involved in her life through this blog. It has been great hearing from my sister-in-laws. I hope that they can get to know me better, and I can get to know them better through their blogs. I tend to write better than I speak...I get all fumbled and nervous sometimes when I talk, but I love to write. Nerdy, I know. Chris' family clear in Kentucky gets to keep up with our lives, where normally, it would take me a month or so to sit down and write an e-mail. Even friends that live down the street, and friends that live far away, keep in touch. Chris even gets to read my blog.....maybe he can learn a thing or two about his wife. Ha. It has been great hearing from everyone, and I hope that the relationships I have in my life will be with me for a lifetime to come. I love you guys, and thanks for being such an impact in mine and my families lives.

So, thanks Becky for the idea of the blog, I hope your not regretting it. Ha.

P.S. Becky: Riley told me today about her first show-n-tell. It was so sweet. She told me that she didn't have anything to show, so, she stood up in front of the class and talked about her best friend Olivia. So, Olivia, was Riley's first show-n-tell in Kindergarten. It was a cute little story that I thought you might like.

  1. Oh my goodness. I can't believe Olivia was a show and tell. How cute. I will never regret anything that makes you fell good about yourself.

    Write on sister.
